A BSG Christmas

So we get home from Midnight Mass at about 1:30 Thursday morning, an lo and behold what has Santa-Spyder left on the couch? Why, it's another boardgame! And one I am dying to play:

Yep, it's Battlestar Galactica, and a very fine game it looks to be, too. The designers have gone out of their way to crank up the suspicion and mistrust elements. Too much fun. Any of you KC bloggers out there want to join me for a game?

But that was not all. In the morning, the lovely wife bestowed upon me the DVD of BSG Season 3. So I am in frakking Cylon heaven. As I am on paid holiday from my place of employment (I just love academia!) until January 5, I should be able to squeeze in a little time with Boomer, Starbuck, and the rest. All in prep for the January 16 resumption of the show on Scifi.

Thanks, Spyder! You are good to me.

Suh-weet! I love me some BSG. I have seasons 1 and 2 (mebbe 3, suddenly I can't recall). Make sure you check out the webisodes twice weekly at Scifi.com until the new episodes start.

Hey, JPP: I am thinking of getting a BSG game going at my local game store in Lee's Summit some Sunday afternoon. Interested?

Nuke: I just found out about the webisodes. Still have six or so to watch. They rock so far.
